Wedding Venue Plan
Wasing Park is an elegant wedding venue set within a privately-owned Berkshire Estate. The beauty of this wedding venue is that once you and your guests arrive, all the facilities you require for your dream wedding are close at hand so you can relax and enjoy yourselves.
Ceremonies
The Garden Room is Wasing Park’s licensed ceremony Barn. This light, contemporary glass-walled building lies within the walled garden and can accommodate up to 140 guests for your civil wedding or partnership ceremony. If you are having your ceremony elsewhere, the Garden Room is ideal for a chic drinks reception.
The Parish Church at Wasing Park is just a stone’s throw away from The Garden Room, The Castle Barn and Stables Lodge accommodation, and seats approximately 100 guests. The vicar is sympathetic to couples from outside the parish, so it may be possible to have your wedding ceremony or blessing in this pretty setting.
The Victorian Summerhouse is available for civil wedding and partnership ceremonies. Located in the gardens, this classic hexagonal structure is in an elevated position surrounded by lawns where your guests will be seated for your ceremony.
Wedding Receptions
The Castle Barn has the features of a traditional castle from the outside with the benefits of a stylish, contemporary barn wedding venue within. It can accommodate up to 150 guests for your wedding breakfast and up to 200 guests for your evening reception. With its licensed bar, purpose-built stage for bands or DJs, and spacious outdoor terrace, The Castle Barn is the ultimate wedding reception and evening party venue.
Accommodation
The Honeymoon Suite is a luxurious en suite bedroom suite for the wedding couple featuring what must be the biggest bed in Berkshire! Its luxury bathroom includes a large shower big enough for two, as well as a stylish freestanding bath with garden views. Additional seating areas and lots of space make it a great place for getting ready with your bridesmaids.
The Stables Lodge also contains 10 boutique-style luxury bedrooms for your guests to stay with you overnight in total comfort. There is a comfortable lounge for guests staying overnight to wind down at the end of the evening, with breakfast served either here or in The Stables Lodge courtyard the next morning.
The Bothy is a two-bedroom cottage a short walk from The Castle Barn and is available for additional guest accommodation, or for the groom and best man/bride and bridesmaids to stay the night before the wedding.
