The very first real life wedding at Wasing Park took place on 12th July 2008.

I turned to Lucia at one point during the day and just said ‘We chose the right place’ and we all felt that.
We have had many thank you letters from family and friends all saying how wonderful it was and making particular reference to the food which was delicious – please thank the Chef for us, he really did us proud.
We would like to thank you in particular for unobtrusively ensuring that the whole event ran so smoothly. We never felt that anything could go wrong. The impression one gained was of a team that had been working together for a number of years rather than the four months in which you have been organising weddings at Wasing. Amazing.

“Tim and I fell in love with the Castle Barn when we first set eyes on it and drove up through the beautiful countryside into the stunning grounds. Even though it’s not finished yet, you can just tell how beautiful and idyllic it’s going to be, ‘the perfect wedding venue’. Both of us, and our families, believe it’s probably the nicest wedding venue any of us have been to!
Since arranging the first viewing, the staff at Wasing (especially Lisa) have catered for our every need. Every time we visit we are filled with the trust that everything will run smoothly, and that the Wasing staff will provide everyone with a very special day to remember. We are getting married on Sunday, 24 August this year and we can’t wait!"

Your patience and attention to detail and the charming manner of staff as they served our guests was exceptional. The accommodation in The Stable Lodge was so comfortable and the staff there, looked after our every need, including serving a great breakfast. The honeymoon suite was a fantastic area in which Becky and her bridesmaids could get ready. All of us who stayed in The Stable Lodge would have loved to have been able to stay on for a couple of days!"
